These are my favorite tools for new and current dog owners that i use and love. I recommend bookmarking it for your reference and convenience. Check back often for updates!

Dog Associations

American Kennel Club – AKC

AKC American Kennel ClubThe AKC is not the only registry of purebred dogs in the U.S., but it is the only non-profit registry, as well as the largest, the most well-known, and the most influential. Their website is full of valuable information on every breed imaginable. You can select a breed you’re curious about and you’re presented with a brief history of the breed to decide if this is the right breed for you.

Association of Professional Dog Trainers – APDT

APDTThe Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) is a professional organization of individual trainers who are committed to becoming better trainers through education. As a member of the APDT, one of my favorite tools is the Online Trainer Search that allows you to search for trainers in your area based on city, zip code, services offered and other criteria.
